  Evaluation

This system uses outside air as heat source. The heating circuit contains a buffer storage, the DHW circuit contains DHW storage. Both, buffer and DHW storage have a back-up heater. Due to underfloor heating and low inlet temperatures good preconditions for the heat pump system are provided. The heating circuit additionally operates with a high efficiency pump.

As data for this system is only available from July 2010 onwards, one can only estimate efficiency so far. Monthly SPFs during the heating and summer period (for 2010 and 2011) constantly lie above the average of 2.9. From this one might assume that the heat pump's performance is above average. The fan's share of the electrical total energy demand will amount to 6 % and thus be in line with the average of 7 % which positively influences efficiency. The same applies for the back-up heater activity which will be below average too as it has not been used so far. The share of DHW will be around 19 % and influence efficiency positively.
